Major H. P. S. Ahluwalia
(6 November 1936 - 14 January 2022)
Founder and Former Chairman of ISIC HealthCare since 1995, Major H. P. S. Ahluwalia was a man of many interests. He was 26 years of age as he stood atop Mount Everest – the world’s highest peak. Just a few months later, he suffered a gun shot wound in his neck during the Indo-Pak war of 1965, a wound that left him paralysed below the waist and confined to a wheelchair. His perspective as a patient and clear understanding on importance of rehabilitation and disability were well evident during his tenure as Chairperson of Rehabilitation Council of India where he promoted conquering disability throughout India.
My dream build a high-tech, holistic care center that redefines medical excellence—pioneering breakthroughs in surgery, research, and rehabilitation.
A place with cutting-edge diagnostics, comprehensive therapeutic care, and world-class education for future specialists.
A hospital where every treatment is accessible under one roof, ensuring even the poorest receive specialized care at no cost.
A healing sanctuary embraced by nature, offering expert psychological support while nurturing the mind, body, and spirit with compassion.
A place of hope, innovation, and the promise of a better life.
Major H. P. S. Ahluwalia
Founder, ISIC HealthCare
