
Types of Conditions
Ankylosing Spondylitis/Spondyloarthritis
A type of arthritis that causes inflammation in the spine, leading to stiffness, pain, and sometimes a hunched posture. It can also affect breathing if the ribs are involved.
Gout
A type of arthritis caused by excess uric acid forming crystals in joints, leading to sudden, severe pain and swelling, often in the big toe.
Psoriatic Arthritis
An inflammatory arthritis associated with psoriasis, causing joint pain, stiffness, and swelling, often affecting fingers and toes.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
A chronic autoimmune disorder where the immune system attacks the joints, causing pain, swelling, and long-term joint damage if untreated.
Scleroderma
A rare autoimmune disease causing thickening and hardening of the skin and connective tissues, sometimes affecting internal organs.
Sjogren’s Syndrome
An autoimmune condition that primarily targets moisture-producing glands, leading to dry eyes, dry mouth, and fatigue.
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
A chronic autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks healthy tissues in the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs.
